Our New Commander In Chief

No matter what all of our beliefs are....and no matter how each of us voted today.....you have to admit that it was pretty amazing to be a part of history tonight. As Jeremy and I watched Barack Obama deliver his acceptance speech, we couldn't help but think.........how cool to be able to tell our children, grand children and great-grand children that we witnessed this huge event from our family room television.

The times are changing, and we are seeing it happen before our eyes. I'm so proud of our country tonight and how seriously they took this election. Not only did they make history, THEY BROKE RECORDS! It was inspiring to see how many people turned out to vote today. We may not agree on the outcome of the presidential race or the propositions, but we made our voices heard and that's what matters. Sorry for writing a novel in your comment box... I'm a little excited about the democratic process tonight :)
